Award-winning national developer Dandara is behind the 40-acre park – which will feature high specification office facilities, as well as offering potential future hotel development land – having purchased the site from Stewart Milne Group.

Investment in the development, branded City South, is expected in the region of £10m in the first year as full services and road networks are installed at the site, along with an initial phase of speculative office complexes.

City South lies adjacent to the A90 trunk road, 5 miles south of Aberdeen in close proximity to the future Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route. It was previously known as Axcess Business Park.

Neil Young, commercial development director at Dandara, says: “High quality office accommodation remains in seriously short supply in Aberdeen, and delivering the finished product as well as design-and-build options for an expectant marketplace is our key driver in taking City South forward.

“City South will move forward rapidly, with infrastructure works to commence in the next month as the strategy for their installation is already in place, with the aim of beginning speculative office development before the end of the year.”
